I’m currently sitting at Talecris Plasma Center in the world’s longest donor line. It’s a room full of people from every imaginable walk of life. We are ALL cranky and tired of waiting… but Thriller is playing and half the room is dancing. The other half is grinning like hell. I am utterly tickled. Merry Christmas to all. :)

The Golden Compass, by Philip Pullman, has been my favorite book since I was 12. It’s the first of the His Dark Materials books. The rest of the series is amazing, too, but this is the dearest book to my heart.
